How it works

  1. Enter the initial capital.
  2. Add a monthly or yearly contribution.
  3. Enter expected return and time horizon.
  4. Review the result, chart and yearly breakdown.

Practical example

With €10,000 initially, €200 per month, a 6% annual return and 20 years, estimated capital exceeds €120,000.

Formula and explanation

Without contributions, the basic formula is final capital = initial capital × (1 + return) raised to the number of periods.

Each contribution is added at the end of its period and grows from that point.

The table separates contributed money from accumulated interest.
