How long will my download take?

How it works

1. Enter the size and choose MB, GB or TB.
2. Enter the speed in Mbps, Gbps or MB/s.
3. Read the estimated time.
4. Check the equivalent speed in MB/s.

Practical example

A 50 GB file on a 300 Mbps connection would theoretically take 22 minutes and 13 seconds at 37.5 MB/s.

Formula and explanation

The file is first expressed in MB and speed in MB/s.

Time in seconds = size in MB ÷ speed in MB/s.

The result assumes a continuous transfer without losses caused by the network or server.
